Here are some examples of supplies we use often and some special items we cannot afford to purchase as listed in our Giving Guide. This guide shares all the different needs we have from materials to volunteering to donatng services. Office Supplies:
1” White 3-ring binders with clear overlay (new) |
Used to create workshop booklets for clients. |
| Copy paper – 20# weight, 80 brightness. | Used daily in our office. |
| Legal pads – yellow or white lined paper in letter-size tablets. | Used daily in our office. |
| Post-it note pads – any size. | Used daily in our office. |
| Flip charts - 27" x 34" white paper. | Used by staff as they teach workshops. |
| Markers for flip charts. | Used by staff as they teach workshops. |
| Markers for dry erase board. | Used by staff as they teach workshops. |
Gift certificate to an office supply store such as Office Max, Northern Business Products or SAMS Club. |
Allows us to purchase much-needed supplies, at discounted, tax-free prices. |
Job Search Items for Clients:
| Bus passes | Many of our clients use the DTA for transportation. We offer daily or weekly bus passes to motivated clients who are job searching or recently employed. Once employed, they can afford to purchase them. |
| $20.00 Gas Cards | For those clients who live in rural areas and are actively seeking employment. |
