Training Opportunities
SOAR's partnership with educators like Lake Superior College offers short-term training classes that can lead to employment in health care and manufacturing.
Training areas include:
- Healthcare: Certified Nursing Assistant, Trained Medication Administration
- Manufacturing: Machine Operator
Classes average 8-12 weeks and provide basic training that may lead to an entry-level job or enrollment in longer term educational programs. Tuition is paid by state and local grants.
