MN Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) Computer Basics

Phase 3: Job Skills Training (Optional, As Needed)

Some clients identify career plans that include additional training. In Phase 3 we help them access community resources to secure training.

Job Skills Training:

We assist and prepare clients for short term job skill training opportunities in manufacturing and health careers offered at MRC Duluth and Lake Superior College. (Funding is often provided by Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Board.) These courses have an 81% successful rate.

Computer Basic Training

Loretta learns Computer Basics from Instuctor Ron Meyers in Phase 3 We offer this 12-hour course on site. It helps clients overcome computer anxiety and become confident with basic computer skills in order to be successful securing employment. This course has an 89% successful completion rate.
