W.I.S.E. (Women's Initiative for Self-Employment) is the only entrepreneurial program in Northeastern Minnesota specifically designed for women. This interactive workshop assists women with planning and decision-making for their businesses and complete all steps necessary to write a comprehensive business plan.

- Personal and business mission statements
- Product development and pricing
- Legal and zoning issues
- Financial projections and record keeping
Workshop participants have access to our Resource Center:
- Access to computers, the Internet, and e-mail
- Business phones
- Self-directed setting for independent work at your own pace
- Community and education resources and referrals
